I greet you with the traditional first attempt at output by a programmer learning a new language. Let me introduce myself. I’m Andy Crowe, newest member of the Astek team. But since Boss goes by Andy, I now go by Andrew, or just Crowe. Hence the subject of this post. I joined Astek as the *trumpet fanfare* Director of Web Development in early September of this year. Basically I’m jack of all technological trades here, which suits me just fine. I thrive off of a variety of challenges.

I plan on using this venue to discuss and document the little (and not so little) hurdles and other things of interest that I encounter in my work. I, like a lot of folk these days, rely on the Internet from time to time for researching the issues which would normally just leave me banging my head against the wall. Which I sometimes still do anyway. But point is, I’d like to give back by sharing my experiences for other people that may find themselves in similar situations.
